BankDhofar has signed three real estate agreements in Oman, linking housing finance with residential projects by Al Ahly Sabbour Developments, Adanté Realty and Sarooj Development Company. The agreements were signed during the Urban Development, Home and Construction Exhibition and Conference 2026.

The partnerships will provide eligible retail customers with access to housing loans for properties under development. They also cover financing for property development activities, connecting the bank's lending services with projects in Oman's growing residential market.

Three agreements cover residential projects

The first agreement, valued at OMR 10 million, was signed with Al Ahly Sabbour Developments. It covers financing for the company's development activities and housing loans for individual buyers. The funding is intended to support the developer's investment plans.

BankDhofar also signed an agreement with Adanté Realty, the real estate development arm of Al Adrak Group. This partnership concerns Yenaier Residences, a residential project in Sultan Haitham City.

The third agreement involves Sarooj Development Company and its Sarooj Oasis project, also located in Sultan Haitham City. Both developments form part of the city's wider residential development plans.

The agreements give the participating developers access to financial support while creating housing loan options for eligible buyers interested in properties within these projects.

Supporting Oman's housing market

Ahmed bin Said Al Ibrahim, BankDhofar's Chief Retail Banking and Government Business Officer, represented the bank at the signing ceremonies. He highlighted the role of partnerships with developers in supporting residential projects and improving access to financing.

BankDhofar said it remains committed to providing flexible and competitive financial solutions for developers, investors and homebuyers. The agreements also align with Oman Vision 2040, which includes goals related to private-sector investment and sustainable urban development.

The partnerships bring banking services and residential development closer together. For prospective buyers, access to housing finance can be an important consideration when purchasing a property that is still under construction. For developers, financing arrangements can help support their project activities.

Through these three agreements, BankDhofar continues to work with property developers to support residential development and housing finance in Oman.
