DDA Awas Nivesh Yojana 2026 Sells Over 2,500 Narela Flats in Two Hours
The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) booked more than 2,500 low-income group (LIG) flats in Narela within two hours of opening online bookings under the DDA Awas Nivesh Yojana 2026 on October 20.
The scheme offers 2,516 flats at discounted prices. Tentative rates start at ₹14.95 lakh.
Bookings opened at noon on Dussehra. The flats are being allotted on a first-come, first-served (FCFS) basis. The housing scheme offers a 25% discount on the flats, making them available to buyers seeking homes at relatively affordable prices in Delhi.
DDA Awas Nivesh Yojana 2026: Flat locations and prices
The 2,516 flats are located in Pockets 3 and 6 of Sectors G2–G6 in Narela. The inventory is divided between two pockets, with different tentative prices for the units.
Pocket 3 has 1,020 flats, each measuring 49.90 square metres. The tentative price for each flat is ₹15.01 lakh after the discount.
Pocket 6 accounts for the remaining 1,496 flats, with a tentative price of ₹14.95 lakh per unit after the discount. Together, the two pockets make up the entire inventory offered under this phase of the scheme.
The DDA said the response reflected demand for affordable housing and public confidence in its housing initiatives. The authority is offering the homes through an online booking process, with allotments governed by the first-come, first-served system.
Infrastructure development in Narela
Alongside the housing scheme, the DDA is developing infrastructure and civic amenities in Narela. The authority is working to establish the area as a residential, educational, institutional and sports hub.
Planned infrastructure and connectivity investments are expected to support Narela's urban development, the authority said. These efforts form part of the area's broader development, as the housing scheme adds another option for people looking to purchase homes in Delhi.
The rapid booking response marks a significant uptake for the latest affordable housing offering. With all 2,516 flats included in the scheme's initial inventory, the programme has drawn substantial interest from prospective buyers shortly after bookings opened.
