Philippines National Housing Expo Showcases 50,000 Ready-to-Occupy Homes
The Philippines’ National Housing Expo opened on October 19 at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City. The event brings together more than 80 property developers, with over 50,000 ready-for-occupancy homes available to Filipino families.
Organised by the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) and Pag-IBIG Fund, the two-day expo features houses and condominiums in different locations and price ranges. Developers taking part include SM Development Corporation (SMDC), Amaia Land, Avida Land, DMCI Homes, Filinvest Land, Megaworld Corporation, PH1 World Developers, Robinsons Land and Rockwell Land.
The expo is part of the government's Expanded Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino (Expanded 4PH) Program. It brings together different property developers and housing agencies. Visitors can look at the homes on offer and ask about financing options available to them.
National Housing Expo offers housing deals and loans
Visitors can check out properties and ask developers about available prices and incentives. Pag-IBIG Fund is also offering discounts of up to 30% on its acquired properties.
Financing is another key part of the event. Qualified buyers of socialised housing under the Expanded 4PH Program may access a subsidised annual interest rate of 3%.
Other eligible housing loans have promotional rates for applications submitted between July 1 and December 31, 2026. Loans above the applicable socialised housing ceiling up to ₱4.9 million qualify for a 4.5% annual rate. For loans above ₱4.9 million and up to ₱10 million, the rate is 5.75%. Both rates are fixed for the first three years.
Visitors can also get help understanding loan eligibility and how much they may be able to borrow. Staff can provide estimates of monthly payments. Solar energy providers and home essentials retailers are also participating, with special offers for Pag-IBIG Fund Loyalty Cardholders.
Organisers expect strong visitor turnout
Organisers expect more than 40,000 visitors over the two days. Last year's expo attracted around 20,000 home seekers.
DHSUD Secretary and Pag-IBIG Fund Board Chairman Jose Ramon P. Aliling said developer participation supports efforts to make affordable housing more accessible.
Pag-IBIG Fund Chief Executive Officer Marilene C. Acosta stressed the importance of offering homes that suit members' budgets and preferred locations. These options include condominiums close to workplaces.
The expo runs until October 20. Visitors can explore available properties and speak with developers about financing. They can also compare their options before deciding on a purchase.
