Saudi Proptech Startups Rela and Gathern Secure Fresh Investment
Saudi proptech startups are drawing fresh investment as technology-led platforms continue to develop new ways of managing accommodation and connecting real estate with business demand.
Among the latest deals is an investment in Rela, a Saudi startup focused on workforce housing. Yazeed Al Rajhi & Brothers Holding has invested an undisclosed amount in the company and will also work with Rela as a strategic partner. The startup plans to use the partnership as it expands its accommodation network across Saudi Arabia.
Rela focuses on workforce housing
Rela was launched in early 2026 by Salman Al Jabrain. The company brings accommodation and property management services together on one technology platform. It connects property owners, developers and investors with businesses looking for housing for their employees and workers.
Rela does more than match businesses with available properties. It also handles the preparation, operation and maintenance of housing facilities. The company provides transportation and catering services as well. This allows businesses to manage several workforce accommodation needs through one platform.
Clients can use the platform to make reservations and keep track of occupancy. They can also assign workers to different properties and access operational information. Rela is targeting businesses in sectors including construction, logistics, industrial operations, hospitality, retail and maintenance.
As part of its expansion plans, the company intends to bring more workforce housing properties and residential complexes onto its network. It also plans to work with property owners, developers and investors that have real estate suitable for corporate accommodation.
Gathern secures more investment
Another Saudi proptech company receiving fresh backing is Gathern. Pinnacle Capital has increased its investment in the alternative accommodation platform through its Pinnacle Growth & Secondary Fund. The amount invested in the latest deal was not disclosed. Pinnacle's ownership stake following the investment was also not revealed.
Gathern was founded in 2016 by Latifah Al-Tamimi and Faisal Al-Anazi. The company is based in Riyadh and operates a digital marketplace for local accommodation. Guests can find different types of stays on the platform, including apartments, villas, chalets, farms and camps.
Pinnacle had previously participated in Gathern's SR270 million ($72 million) Series B funding round in August 2025. That round placed the company's valuation above SR1 billion.
The two investments highlight continued activity around technology-based accommodation businesses in Saudi Arabia, with Rela focused on workforce housing and Gathern operating in the alternative accommodation market.
