Cavendish Maxwell Achieves Second Great Place to Work Certification
Cavendish Maxwell has achieved Great Place to Work Certification™ for the second consecutive year. The Dubai-based real estate advisory group recorded an improvement in its employee survey, with 92% of respondents saying the company is a great place to work. In 2025, that figure was 82%.
More employees took part this year. Of the company's 135 employees, 127 completed the survey, bringing participation to 94%, compared with 89% in 2025. The overall average across the Great Place to Work model also rose, from 80% to 86%.
The survey assessed three areas: Trust, Pride and Camaraderie. Employee pride was particularly high. Some 94% of respondents said they were proud of what they accomplished at Cavendish Maxwell, while 93% said they were proud to tell others they worked for the company.
New initiatives for employee development
Since receiving its first certification in 2025, Cavendish Maxwell has continued to review employee feedback and introduce workplace initiatives. One of the additions in 2026 was a structured in-house mentoring programme. It connects employees with experienced senior colleagues to support their professional development, leadership skills and career aspirations.
Cavendish Maxwell has implemented various workplace initiatives while also taking employee feedback into consideration since the first certification was obtained in 2025. For instance, in 2026, a structured in-house mentoring programme was introduced to connect employees with experienced senior managers who would help them develop their professional skills, leadership capabilities, and career plans.
The company has also expanded leadership and emotional intelligence training. Employees working towards professional qualifications, including RICS accreditation, continue to receive support.
Recognition remains part of its approach to employee engagement. The quarterly recognition programme has celebrated approximately 30 employee achievements over the past year. Company-wide Huddles and monthly open-door sessions with senior management give staff regular opportunities to share feedback and ideas.
Jessica Taylor, Group Chief Operating Officer at Cavendish Maxwell, said: “I am particularly pleased to see how much our results have improved over the past 12 months, especially with even more of our people taking part in the survey. Since achieving our first certification, we've continued to listen to our employees and make changes based on their feedback, whether that's greater flexibility, more recognition or opportunities for development.”
Taylor added: “For me, the real value of Great Place to Work isn't the certification itself. It's understanding what we're doing well and, equally importantly, where we can improve. These results are really encouraging, but there is always more we can do, and we'll continue to use employee feedback to shape our priorities.”
