Greystar Welcomes First Residents to Juniper, Completing Everett Development
Greystar has welcomed the first residents to Juniper, a 416-apartment residential community in Everett, Massachusetts. The opening marks the completion of the company’s fifth and final residential development in the Everett Triangle, part of an $880 million investment in the area.
Located at 201 Mill Road, Juniper offers studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments. The property includes more than 15,000 square feet of amenity space, with facilities designed for indoor recreation and outdoor activities.
Residents have access to nearly an acre of green space. Outdoor amenities include a pickleball court, dog park, bocce court and nine-hole mini golf course. The community offers residents access to a fitness centre, pet spa, swimming pool, private courtyard and BBQs. The fire pits and community garden are also available.
The apartments come with double glazed windows, modern kitchens with quartz benchtops, built in pantries and an in home laundry.
Juniper adds 416 homes to Everett
The development is located about half a mile from the Chelsea MBTA station, which serves Silver Line and Commuter Rail passengers. The location provides connections to Boston’s North and South stations, the Seaport district and several bus routes.
Ryan Souls, managing director of development at Greystar, described Juniper’s opening as an important milestone for the company’s Everett portfolio. He also highlighted the broader evolution of the Everett Triangle into a connected residential neighbourhood.
Greystar has also incorporated artwork into the development. Working with Mary Lacy, the company has curated a collection that currently includes two interior murals. An additional mural on the exterior is planned for summer 2027.
Fifth project completes $880 million investment
Juniper joins four other Greystar communities developed in the area. In 2023, Mason was launched with 330 units. In December 2024, Maxwell started taking in tenants and soon after, in June 2025, Jade followed suit. Summer 2024 saw the completion of 450 residential units in the Anthem Everett project.
Across the five developments, Greystar has added 1,905 apartment homes to Everett. The projects have also brought green spaces, parks, improved pedestrian access and 6,500 square feet of retail space.
The completion of Juniper concludes the company's planned five-community development programme in the area, adding another rental housing option to the Greater Boston market.
Move-ins at Juniper are now underway, with apartment availability and further property details accessible through the community's website
