NineSmart's AI Work Order Management Solution Wins Merit Award
NineSmart has received a Merit Award at the 12th Hong Kong Value Creation for Technology Awards for its Smart Property solution. The Hong Kong-based property technology company showcased its AI-powered work order management system at the HKTDC Hong Kong Electronics Fair (Autumn Edition) in October 2026.
The solution focuses on a familiar problem in property management. Maintenance requests need to be recorded, assigned to the right staff and followed up until the work is complete. NineSmart's platform brings these tasks together in one system, using artificial intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things (IoT).
NineSmart's AI Work Order Management System
This platform gives the capability for property management teams to manage maintenance requests through both a mobile application and an online system.
Additionally, it is integrated with CCTV cameras and IoT devices. If the system senses something out of the ordinary, it automatically creates a work ticket. The corresponding technician or frontline worker will receive a notification directly through the app.
This process minimizes the number of occasions when employees must report issues and issue orders manually, which is a significant advantage.
Voice Commands and Emergency Alerts
There is an AI voice assistant integrated into the system for the benefit of security and engineering employees. Employees could also give voice instructions and generate work orders or change task statuses instead of typing their updates.
The platform converts speech into text and identifies the relevant details. This gives frontline workers another way to report problems while carrying out their regular duties.
NineSmart has also incorporated an Emergency Alert System. It can send notifications through the mobile app, SMS and voice broadcasts.
These alerts are intended to help teams respond to urgent maintenance issues and share safety messages with the rerelevant people.
Recognition for NineSmart's Smart Property Solution
NineSmart Business Director Sing Wong presented the Smart Property solution to the awards' judging panel.
The Angel Investment Foundation and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council are the partners behind the organisation of the 12th Hong Kong Value Creation for Technology Awards. The awards are open for startups which exhibit innovation in the use of technology, commercial viability and the potential for investments. NineSmart is in the market with the solutions based on the combination of AI, IoT and cloud technology with the goal of property management. Its Smart Property platform focuses on automating routine tasks and helping teams manage building operations through a connected system. The company is also part of the Cyberport incubation programme.
